23 Nov 2010.... That's the 1st time I hit Eethan because I was too frustrated and lost my patience with him. I know, it's no big deal.. kids needed to be disciplined... blah, blah, blah...
I've hit him before when he was naughty and wouldn't listen to me. But that day, it wasn't entirely his fault. He was just cranky because he didn't sleep well during the day. By the time I came back from work, he was already so tired that he just wanted me to carry and entertain him. One moment he wanted me to answer him when he pointed to things and tell him what it was, another moment he just kept walking around and around the room and wouldn't want to change his diaper. The next thing you know, he's pulling chair and tried to reach for my notebook. He was so listless.. and I hit him on his hand while telling him to stop... and... left my finger print there... :(
He cried, of course he did. But still he reached out for me and HUG me... I felt so so so guilty. By then he was so tired that when he hug me, he's willing to go to bed.
