I just started teaching Eethan "ABC" since last weekend. Bought this playmate thing that the alphabets can pop out. He likes poking the alphabet out from the mat and putting it back in again.
I've only thought Eethan A-F as I didn't want to confuse him and he remembered a few! All I did was associated the alphabets with words/animals/things that he likes saying and interested in. Apple, Baby, Cat (miaw), Dog (o,o), E (Eethan) & Fish. He could say all these words except that he would say miaw & o,o instead of cat & dog.. & would point to himself when asked, "What's E for?".. He doesn't really remember much of A, B & E and needed prompting but is super when ask for C, D & F!
Just now, after dinner, instead of asking "what's C for?", I asked,"Which is 'C'?".. Guess what?!?! He pointed to 'C' and said.."Miaw"..! I'm so, so proud..!
