Rashes / Allergic Reaction

There are red patches around Eethan's mouth... I brought it up to the pediatrician during our last visit. He said it's not something to be worried about and that it would go away after sometime. Might be a reaction towards his own saliva coz he keeps putting his hands into his mouth.. teething.

It's been a week now and the condition worsen. Eethan is also getting irritable and dislike anything coming in contact with that area... so did his milk bottle. We brought him to the doc around our area and was given aquas cream. The doc wanted to prescribe allergic medication but I wasn't too keen on giving him any medicine orally unless if it's necessary.
