It was a recommendation from a colleague to use pure olive oil to prevent stretch marks and use it early.
I've started using it since I past my 1st trimester. But I only use it at night, after shower. I had thought that it will be oily but no.. it's not. In fact there's no sticky feeling too. However, I started seeing marks on my 32 week...:( It started looking like a dented surface. So I initially thought it was a mark left behind by the rubber of my maternity pants or it could be something that was pressed against my belly.
But the day after it was still there. How could marks cause by pressure present at the same place and same pattern? It really didn't look like a stretch mark then until the dented area turn dark in color...... WAAAAHHHHHH...... and after that, more marks appear, esp around the area where my baby likes to stretch most!
Since then, I used the oil twice a day and rub it all around my belly. Then it was not enough. I bought Palmer's CONCENTRATED stretch mark cream, use it all over my belly and focus on those marks too... but all are useless. New marks keep appearing.. haiz... and.. Palmer's cream feel sticky on my belly.
Well now, in just 3 weeks time... I have a very beautiful masterpiece of art on my lower tummy, created by my beloved son.. :P
