Saw the ad on baby massage seminar by J&J on newspaper last Thurs. Seems that baby massage can help alleviate stomachache and gas problem. Just what I needed for Eethan! Not just that... it helps in infant growth and bonding.
So we registered for the seminar for 2 Aug 09 in JB. Guess what??! The speaker is our pediatrician! Just this morning Eethan lost his voice crying due to his stomach discomfort and we were thinking of bringing him to the doc after the seminar. Well, guess we'll have to do a rain check then.
OK parent out there... the most important massage is this..
- put your palm on baby's stomach and move in circular motion to his LEFT
- walk your finger from baby's right side to his LEFT and then DOWN
